- Proper Administration: Gently pull the earlobe upward and backward to straighten the ear canal before instilling the drops. Tilt your head to the side to allow the medication to reach the infection site. After Application: Gently massage the area in front of your ear to help distribute the medication. Duration: Continue using the medication for the full course of treatment, even if your symptoms improve sooner. Stopping early may lead to recurring infection.
