Proper Dosage and Administration Instructions for Rhinocort Aqua

Always follow your doctor’s prescription. The typical adult dose is one spray per nostril once daily. Children’s dosages vary significantly depending on age and condition; consult your pediatrician for specific instructions.

Using Your Rhinocort Aqua Nasal Spray

Before first use, prime the pump by pressing it several times until a fine mist appears. Gently blow your nose to clear nasal passages. Hold the bottle upright and insert the nozzle into one nostril. Close the opposite nostril with a finger. While keeping the bottle upright, spray firmly once. Repeat for the other nostril.

For optimal results, maintain an upright posture while administering the spray. Avoid touching the nozzle to your nose to prevent contamination. Clean the nozzle regularly with a dry tissue. If you miss a dose, administer it as soon as you remember, unless it’s almost time for your next dose. Never double the dose to make up for a missed one.

Storage and Precautions

Store the spray at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep out of reach of children. If you experience any side effects, such as nosebleeds, irritation, or allergic reactions, consult your doctor immediately. Discontinue use and contact your doctor if you notice a change in spray characteristics, such as altered color or consistency. Dispose of the bottle appropriately after use.

Specific Dosages for Children
