Experience worsening eye pain or discomfort despite using Pred Forte or its generic equivalent. This includes increased redness, swelling, or discharge. Don’t wait – seek medical attention immediately.
Notice blurred vision that doesn’t improve after 2-3 days of treatment. Vision changes, even slight ones, could indicate a serious underlying condition.
Signs of Infection
Develop increased eye redness, a significant increase in eye discharge (different color or consistency than before), or experience significant eyelid swelling. These are potential infection indicators requiring prompt medical evaluation.
Other Warning Signs
Observe changes in your vision beyond simple blurriness, like seeing floaters or flashes of light. These might signal retinal issues, demanding immediate ophthalmological consultation.
Experience any allergic reactions, such as itching, rash, or hives. Discontinue use and contact your doctor or allergist immediately.
Note prolonged or unusual eye discomfort after completing your prescribed Pred Forte course. Persistent symptoms suggest a need for further evaluation and may require alternative treatment.
