Apply Acticin Permethrin cream liberally to all skin surfaces from the neck down, ensuring thorough coverage. Pay particular attention to areas prone to mite infestation, such as the skin folds between fingers and toes, and around the wrists and ankles. Gently massage the cream into the skin until it’s fully absorbed.
Application Instructions
Leave the cream on for 8-14 hours before showering or bathing thoroughly with soap and water. Repeat the application after 7 days to eliminate any remaining mites and eggs. Carefully wash all clothing, bedding, and towels in hot water and dry them on a high heat setting after each application. This step is crucial to preventing re-infestation.
Precautions and Side Effects
Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. If accidental contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water. A mild stinging or burning sensation may occur upon application; however, severe burning or other unusual reactions require immediate medical attention. Permethrin is generally safe but can cause irritation in some individuals. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using Acticin Permethrin.
