Cardiovascular Effects
Low blood pressure (hypotension) is a primary concern. You may notice weakness, collapse, or pale gums. A rapid or weak pulse is another key indicator. Severe cases can lead to heart failure.
Other Notable Symptoms
Dogs may experience Headaches, exhibiting restlessness or unusual lethargy. Severe stomach upset, including vomiting and diarrhea, can also occur. Some dogs develop a bluish tint to their gums (cyanosis) due to reduced oxygen in the blood. Panting may be excessive or shallow.
Neurological Signs
In more serious poisoning, you might observe Tremors or Seizures. Dilated pupils are also possible. Immediate veterinary attention is critical if these symptoms appear.
