Specifically, women with PCOS exhibiting insulin resistance respond particularly well to the addition of Metformin, which improves insulin sensitivity and ovulation. Other candidates include women with unexplained infertility or those who haven’t responded adequately to Clomid alone. Conversely, women with low ovarian reserve or severe tubal damage may see minimal improvement from the combined approach.
