Before taking Figral, inform your doctor about all your health conditions, especially heart problems, low blood pressure, liver or kidney disease, stroke history, retinal problems, blood cell disorders, or bleeding disorders. Also disclose any medications you’re currently taking, including nitrates, alpha-blockers, other erectile dysfunction treatments, or HIV protease inhibitors. These interactions can be dangerous.
Potential Side Effects
Common side effects include headache, flushing, nasal congestion, and visual disturbances. Less common but serious side effects include prolonged erection (priapism), sudden vision loss, or hearing loss. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any of these.
Specific Warnings
Avoid alcohol consumption while taking Figral, as it can intensify side effects. Grapefruit juice can also increase Figral’s concentration in your bloodstream, potentially leading to adverse reactions. Figral isn’t suitable for women or individuals under 18. Exercise caution while operating machinery or driving, as dizziness may occur. Always follow your doctor’s prescribed dosage and instructions. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Contraindications
Individuals with certain heart conditions, severe liver or kidney disease, uncontrolled high or low blood pressure, recent history of stroke or heart attack, or certain types of eye problems should avoid Figral. Its use is also contraindicated with concurrent nitrate use.
