False Positives and LH Levels
A false positive OPK on Clomid might arise from persistently elevated LH levels. While Clomid aims for a single, powerful LH surge, some women experience prolonged elevation or multiple smaller surges, causing OPKs to register positive even when ovulation hasn’t occurred or is not imminent. This persistent elevation can make accurate timing challenging.
