Apply a thin layer of Lotrisone cream to the affected area twice daily, morning and evening. Gently rub it in until completely absorbed.
Continue using the cream as directed by your doctor, even if your symptoms improve. Stopping treatment prematurely may lead to a recurrence of the infection.
Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying the cream to prevent spreading the infection. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
For best results, keep the treated area clean and dry. Avoid harsh soaps and scrubbing. Let the area air dry before applying fresh cream.
If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember, unless it’s almost time for the next dose. Don’t double the dose to make up for a missed application.
Store Lotrisone cream at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children.
Contact your doctor if your condition worsens or doesn’t improve after several weeks of treatment. They can assess your progress and adjust the treatment plan if necessary.
